OBITUARIES

HERBERT C. SEWELL
Herbert C. Sewell, 76, died Oct 1, 2005 at a Bangor hospital following a short battle with Leukemia. He was born in Perham Jan. 10, 1929 the son of Manzer and Pauline (Faulkner) Sewell. Herbert was a Korean War veteran serving in the U. S. Air Force. He married Flora (Bragg) in Exeter on July 26, 1952. For over 40 years Herb was employed as a truck driver, 38 of those years he was employed by St. Johnsbury Trucking out of the Bangor terminal. Herb and Flora enjoyed touring around the state on their motorcycle and they both enjoyed ATV riding. He was a member of Central Maine Trailblazers of Corinna and a member of Airline Riders ATV Clubs.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Flora Sewell of Hermon, one brother Roger Sewell and his wife Carolyn of Inverness Florida, two sisters Carrie French of Brunswick and Inez MacKinnon and her husband Ralph of Inverness Florida, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, two infant children Pamela Jean and Sheldon Brent and also a sister Priscilla.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted 1 PM Wednesday Oct 5, 2005 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Etna. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Service 34 High St. Newport.
