HERBERT P. SIMONDS SR
DEXTER, Herbert P. Simonds Sr., 65, died February 23, 2007, at his home in Dexter. He was born May 15, 1941, in Hartland, son of Herbert and Eva (Kimball) Simonds.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred (Landry) Simonds of Dexter; 3 sons, Herbert Simonds Jr. and his girlfriend, Tara Woodard of Newport, Alan Simonds and his girlfriend, Cynthia Dadmun of Madison, and Robert Simonds and his wife, Donna of Hartland; a daughter, Gail Giles and her fiance, Rhett Ellison of Dexter; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 2 sisters, Midge Page of E. Corinth, and Gladys Bragg of Corinna; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Ray Stafford, Dave Berry, and Buck; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Simonds of Freeport. He was predeceased by a brother, Frank, and a brother-in-law, Albert Bragg.

Friends may call Thursday, March 1, 2007 from 12 to 2 PM, at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main St., in Dexter. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM, with spring burial in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Hartland.
