OBITUARIES
HESTER A. NADEAU
DEXTER, Hester A. Nadeau, 81, passed away, December 24, 2005, at a Dexter health care facility, following a lengthy illness. Hester was born April 20, 1924, in Madera, California, the daughter of Horace and Alpha (Hovey) White. When Hester was a young child, she moved to Maine with her family, and has lived in Dexter for the past 55 years. She retired from the Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna, after working there for many years. She was a very active member of the Dexter Grange, and held many offices, including Master of the Grange for two terms. She also was a member of the Dexter United Methodist Church for many years and in recent years became a member of the Dexter Universalist Church. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Nadeau, an older brother Guy White, and a younger brother Joseph White.
She is survived by three sons, George Lobdell of Dexter and Ripley, William Lobdell of Derry, New Hampshire, and Ronald and Jean Lobdell of Sarasota, Florida. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. At Hester's request, there will be no calling hours. Spring burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
