Homer Douglas Brown
CORINNA—Homer Douglas Brown, 86, died October 15, 2013 at his residence. He was born August 17, 1927 in Corinna, the son of Harry and Vera (Eastman) Brown. He had been employed at the Eastland Woolen Mill and was a member of the Morse’s Corner Baptist Church, both in Corinna. Homer served in the United States Army.

He is survived by a son, Allen and wife Linda Brown of Corinna; 2 daughters, Linda and husband Mike Allen of Bradford and Donna McKusick of Dover-Foxcroft; 6 grandchildren, Michele and husband Mike Bryson, Paul and wife Jessica Dyer, Peter and wife Danielle Ruksznis and son Hayden, Kimberly and husband Jason Lovley, Nicole Ruksznis and Timothy Brown; and 5 great grandchildren, Hunter Dyer, Noah Lovley, Nicholas and Ava Lovley, and Taylor Bryson. He was predeceased by his wife Agnes in 2007.

The family wishes to thank Sebasticook Valley Hospital, Eastern Maine Medical Center and Bangor Area Nursing and Hospice for their fine care.

Graveside services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, October 22nd, at the Morse’s Corner Cemetery, Corinna, with Pastor Michael Wilbur officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna. Memorial donations may be made to Sarah’s House or CancerCare of Maine.
