IDA V. PERKINS
RIPLEY - Ida V. Perkins, 85, died April 7, 2007 at a Bangor hospital. She was born January 28, 1922, in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of Joseph and Ida (Buxenstein) Davis.

She is survived by a daughter, Ida West of Smithfield, RI; 2 brothers, John and his wife, Lorraine Davis of Baltimore, MD, Charles and his wife, Carolyn Davis of Rochester, NY; a sister, Elsie Thomas, of Easton, MD; 2 grandchildren, Michael and his wife, Melody West of E. Taunton, MA, Rebecca and her husband, Paul Vaughan of Plymouth, MA; 2 great grandchildren, Colby and Jenna; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Leonard "Jay" and his wife Althea of Lisbon Falls.

She was predeceased by her husband, Louis G. Perkins, and a brother Joseph Davis.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 PM Tuesday at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street, Dexter, where funeral services will be held at 5 PM with her grandson, Michael West officiating. Spring burial will be in the West Ripley Cemetery.
