OBITUARIES

INEZ D. LAVIGNE
GREENVILLE, Inez D. Lavigne, 86, died October 11, 2004, at a Greenville hospital. She was born August 6, 1918, in Charleston, daughter of Benjamin and Annie Dyer. Her husband, Fred, was a Park Ranger for Lily Bay State Park for many years and she assisted him for all of those years as the gate keeper at the Park. She was a Past Worthy Matron of the O.E.S., a member of the Ready Workers, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Hospital Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred J. Lavigne.

She is survived by a son and his wife, Larry and Julia Lavigne, and 2 special grandsons, Christopher and Scott all of Greenville; a brother-in-law and his wife, Roland and Ruth Lavigne of Greenville; 2 sisters-in-law, Sylvia Edgerly of Greenville and Pauline Markey of Copenhagen, New York; a brother-in-law, Fred Hutchings of Holiday, Florida, and many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, October 14, 2004, at the Union Evangelical Church in Greenville, with Dr. Robert Veon officiating. Burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery. Those who wish may make donations in her memory to the Union Evangelical Church, P.O. Box 368, Greenville, Me 04441 or to the C.A. Dean Hospital and Nursing Home, P.O. Box 1129, Greenville, ME 04441.
