IRVIN M. WILDER
DOVER-FOXCROFT - Irvin M. Wilder, 68, died unexpectedly Nov. 3, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. At the time he was stricken, he was enjoying his favorite activity, deer hunting. He has joined beloved wife of 48 years, the late Sandra J. (Cassidy) Wilder. Irvin was born Sept. 11, 1939, in Hartland, the son of Maurice S. and Beverly (Brewer) Wilder. He had worked at Dexter Shoe Co., for many years. A member of Mosaic Masonic Lodge No. 52 AF & AM, he was an avid hunter and loved the coast of Maine. He and his family enjoyed their cottage in Steuben for many years.

He is survived by three sons, Michael and his wife, Sheri Wilder, of Lamoine, Aaron Wilder and his fiancé, Amanda, of Sangerville and Darren Wilder of Winter Harbor; a daughter, Cindy and her husband, Roland Piper, of Corinna; two brothers, Carl and his wife, Susan Wilder, of Gray and Basil Wilder of Canada; two sisters, Rebecca and her husband, Jack Johnson, of Pittsfield and Lucy and her husband, Sam Goodnight, of Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Anne Marie, Amy Lynn, Ashley Elisabeth, Kelly Laura, Katlyn Nicole, Blake Michael and Heather Erin; one great-grand-son, Ian Sebastian. Irvin will be remembered by a special fri-end, Alberta Boucher. He was predeceased by two brothers, Roger and Gerrish Wilder.

Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, where funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, with Pastor Stephen Dean, of Guilford United Methodist Church, officiating.
