JACOB E. "JAKE" BEDELL
ROCKWOOD- Jacob E. “Jake” Bedell, 76, died June 3, 2008, at Maine General Hospital in Waterville. He was born July 4, 1931, in Boston, MA, son of Jacob and Marie (Gaumont) Bedell. Jake lived in Rockwood for 20 years and loved working at the Birches resort, where he had been employed for 18 years. He enjoyed prospecting, motor vehicles, camping in the back country and reading books.

He will be fondly remembered by all the staff at the Birches.
