JAMES 'BUB' D. MACDONALD
DEXTER and BANGOR - James "Bub" D. MacDonald Jr., 53, died March 15, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 2, 1952, in Bangor, the son of James Sr. and Julia (Malone) MacDonald. He was an active member of the Dexter Grange No. 155 and the Benevolent Lodge No. 87 AF & AM of Carmel. He was an avid outdoorsman especially enjoying hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca MacDonald; his two sons, James III and Jared, all of Dexter; his mother, Julia Malone of Bangor; two sisters, Brenda Tilton of Dover-Foxcroft, JoAnna and her husband, David Farris, of Bangor; brother-in-law, Bobby Martin of Dedham; a special person, Jennifer Holt of Mariaville; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a sister, Donna Martin.

Friends may call 3-5 p.m. Sunday, March 19, at Brooking-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a funeral service will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, March 20, with Pastor Lois Field of the Dexter United Methodist Church, officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments following the services Monday at the Brookings-Smith, Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor.
