James Elwin Paige, Sr
CORINNA – James Elwin Paige, Sr., 90, died December 6, 2012 at a Bangor nursing home. He was born August 17, 1922 in Upton, MA, a son of Leon and Fannie (Larter) Paige. He worked as a welder at Graymont Construction Co. in Needham, MA before moving to Corinna in 1978, where he and his wife Judy purchased a farm on Chamberlain Meeting House Road. He had attended Morse’s Corner Baptist Church in Corinna and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Newport.

He is survived by 5 sons, Rev. James Elwin Paige, Jr. (Peggy) of Michigan, Daniel Paige (Patty Qua) of Exeter, Russell (Susanne) Paige of Corinna, Thomas (Colleen) Paige of Hartland, and Bradford Paige of Newport; a daughter, Terry (John) Schef of Michigan; 13 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren He was predeceased by his first wife, Claire; his second wife, Judy; 2 grandchildren, Dylan and Ashley; and a brother, Leon.

Friends may call from 3-5 P.M. Sunday at Crosby & Neal Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna, where funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Monday.
