JANE E. BUCKLEY
BROWNVILLE - Jane E. Buckley, 84, wife of the late Ballard Buckley, died March 26, 2002, at her residence. She was born July 17, 1917, in Brownville, the daughter of Harry and Catherine (Ellis) Stone. She was a member and past deaconess of the Brownville Community Church, where she served on the Social Committee and with the Ladies Circle. She was also a member of the Brownville Historical Society, the Brownville High School Alumni Association, and the Junior Welfare Club.

Mrs. Buckley is survived by a son, Gregory of Two Rivers, Wis.; two daughters, Helene Sanborn of Milo, and Diane Kirby of New Gloucester; a sister, Helen Pennington of Brownville; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by many dear friends. She was predeceased by two brothers, David and Edward.

Friends are invited to call 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2002, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at the Brownville Community Church, with the Rev. George Ganglfinger officiating. Burial in the family lot in Brownville Village Cemetery will be later in the spring. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to either the Brownville Community Church, P.O.
