JEAN E. (SNOW) CLIFFORD
PALMYRA—Jean E. Clifford, 61, died August 10, 2004 at a Bangor hospital. She was born May 17, 1943 at Dover-Foxcroft a daughter of Karl and Rachel (Hersey) Snow, Sr. She was member of the Church of Christ in Newport.

She is survived by her former husband, Garfield Watson of Palmyra; her children, Steven Watson of Queens, NY, Diane (Watson) Billington of St. Albans, Mark Tanguay, Jr. of Sanford, Wendy (Clifford) Morin of Parkman, Jan (Clifford) Davis of Sangerville, Sherri Clifford of Newport, Jason Clifford, serving with the U. S. Army in Iraq, Deanna (Clifford) Niles of Lewiston, Thomas Clifford of Roanoke, VA; her siblings, Karl Snow, Jr. of Charleston, Linda (Clapp) Ashton of Plymouth, Robert Clapp of Bangor, Darlene (Clapp) West of Milo, Daniel Clapp of Guilford, David Bennett of Bangor, and Tami (Bennett) Andrews of Brownville Junction; 16 grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law, Helen Clapp and Rae Snow.

Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 12th at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday with Rea Pennock officiating. Burial will be in the Palmyra Village Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Church of Christ, c/o Perley Goodrich, 146 Rutland Road, Newport, ME 04953. The family would like to extend special thanks to Eastern Maine Medical Center and Sebasticook Valley Hospital for the love and care they gave to Jean.
