JEAN M. BEEM She and her husband owned and operated the family dairy farm in Corinna for 20 years. Jean worked as a bookkeeper for R. I. "Razor" Crosman and Sebasticook Valley Packers for many years; and also was employed at Hood's Dairy and Peoples Bank in Pittsfield. She is survived by 2 sons, Gary and wife Amy Beem of Palmyra and Stephen Beem of Newport; 4 daughters, Rebecca and husband Kent Hart of Hampden, Kathryn Beem of N. Yarmouth, Donna and husband Mike Cray of Palmyra, and Tammy and husband Mark Ellis of Topsham; a brother, Lauris Boylan; 5 sisters, Karlene, Linda, and Muriel Boylan, Lorraine and husband Dick Stone, and Arlene Mullis, all of Newport; 11 grandchildren, Karen Cukierski, Michelle Michaud, Kristina Glidden, Melinda and Kelly Hart, Amanda Peterson, Jennifer Watson, Tonya Cray, Matthew Ellis, Eli and Sierra Beem; 4 step grandchildren, Ian Mallory, Chelsea Weymouth, Brittany Janvrin, and Melissa Eaton; 6 great grandchildren, Chase Peterson, Jack and Luke Cukierski, Megan Watson, Seth Bowden, and Benjamin Michaud; 6 step great grandchildren -her grandchildren were her world; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband in 1998; a brother, Stanley Boylan; and a sister, Lucille Gregoire. Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M., Tuesday, September 8th at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Wednesday with Rev. John Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in the Morse's Corner Cemetery, Corinna. The family would like to thank Cancer Care of Maine and St. Joseph's Hospice for the excellent care given to Jean.
