JEANETTE C. CLUKEY She immigrated to Maine at an early age. She worked for 23 years at Amos Abbott Woolen Mill and for 7 years for SAD #46 in Dexter. She was a member of the Golden Age and Widow's Club and was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter. She was predeceased by her husband, Clatus J. Clukey and 5 brothers, Louis, Joseph, Lionel, Paul, and Phillip. She is survived by 6 sons and their wives, Wayne and Carole Clukey, John Clukey, Jerry and Susan Clukey, Neil and Anne Clukey all of Dexter, James and June Clukey of Ripley, and Joseph and Faye Clukey of Hendersonville, NC; 3 daughters and their husbands, Sandra and John Russell, Barbara and Roy Laferriere, and Nancy and Art Roy all of Dexter; 3 sisters, Rita Clukey, Helen Clukey and Florence Gould all of Dexter; 23 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 to 9 PM, Sunday, August 3, 2008 at Crosby & Neal, 61 Main Street in Dexter. A Mass of Christian burial will celebrated 11 AM, Monday, August 4th, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter, with Monsignor Robert Lavoie, Celebrant.
