JOAN M. GREENE
ST. ALBANS – JOAN M. GREENE, 33, died unexpectedly January 2, 2001 at her St. Albans residence. She was born September 27, 1967 at Pittsfield the daughter of Jim and Phyllis (Mooers) Lawler of Harmony and Liston Brooks of Pittsfield. She worked at MacDonald Shoe in Skowhegan for many years before moving to Florida with her husband for a time, where she worked at Ida’s Restaurant in Fort Myers, FL. After returning to Maine she returned to MacDonald Shoe until her retirement due to ill health. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting teddy bears, and using her computer.

She is survived by her parents of Harmony and father of Pittsfield; her grandmother, Edith Bowen of Hartland; her husband Ted Greene of St. Albans; a step-son Kenneth Ouellette II of Fort Bragg, NC; her brothers and sisters and their families: Paul and Tammi Field and children of Cornville, Carol and Alden Robinson of Hartland, and their family of Shirley, Mass, Randy Field of Bangor, and sister-in-law Debora Field and family of Stockton Springs, Terry Field of Pittsfield, Linda and Tom Richardson and family of Hartland, Wayne Brooks and family of Ft. Myers, FL, David and Patty Brooks and family of Pittsfield, Amy Brooks and family of St. Albans, and Ted’s family; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private family services will be held at St. Albans Union Church at the convenience of the family. A public graveside committal service will be held at the family lot, Crowell Cemetery, St. Albans, in the spring. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Newport.
