JOHN L. SOKOLOSKI, SR.
DEXTER – John L. Sokoloski, Sr., 47, died January 5, 2004 at a Boston hospital. He was bornMay 2, 1956 at Hartford, CT a son of George and Lorraine (Stanhope) Sokoloski. After moving to Maine, he was employed at Irving Tanning Company in Hartland, retiring due to failing health.

He is survived by his wife, Laurie (Claes) Sokoloski of Dexter; her four children, Erin, Anthony, Ashley and Brennan; his dear friend and previous wife, Rosie Sokoloski, and their children, Angela, John, Jr. and Ted, all of Dexter; four brothers, George, Ralph, Nicholas, and Ronald; four sisters, Nancy Toce, Sandra Ferraro, Gail Reilly, and Lori Treadwell.

Friends may call at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main Street, Dexter from Noon to 2 PM Saturday. A graveside committal service will be held in the spring at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, with Pastor A. Maurice Neal officiating.
