John R. Hopkins
NEWPORT – John Ralph Hopkins, 32, died June 4, 2012 in Clinton. He was born February 27, 1980 in Waterville, a son of Ralph and Debra (Gilpatrick) Hopkins. John worked as a day laborer for a temp. agency and had just received his GED.

In addition to his parents of Newport, he is survived by a son, Taner Hopkins of Newport; 3 daughters, Jasmyne Watson of Orrington, Tess Meservey of Palmyra, and Wynter Hopkins of Hartland; 2 brothers, Curt Hopkins of Pittsfield, and Craig Hopkins of Corinna; nieces and nephews, including a special niece Davina Lederman and special nephew, Gabe Lucas-Hopkins.

Graveside services will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Riverside Cemetery, Newport.
