Karen Bardsley Myers
ROCKWOOD- Karen Bardsley Myers, 52, passed on Monday, May 20, 2013, surrounded by her family and friends after a long and courageous battle with Breast Cancer. Born in Phoenixville, PA, she grew up in Toms River, NJ. Karen moved to Rockwood 8 years ago, when she took ownership of the Moose River Country Store, a job she loved.

She is survived by her two sons Steven & Tyler, her father Ralph Bardsley, her sister Sherry and her husband Bob Artz, nieces Nicole & Courtney, and numerous close friends. Karen was a special person who touched and was an inspiration to everyone.

She was dearly loved and will be severely missed by everyone who knew her.

Visiting hours will be Friday, May 31st, from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd, Toms River.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday 10:00 am at the funeral home, with interment to follow at the Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. A celebration of Karen’s life is planned for June 23, 2:00 pm, at the Rockwood Community Center in Rockwood.
