Karen L. McCormick
UNITY – Karen L. McCormick, 60, died December 24, 2013 at her residence. She was born August 21, 1953 in Hampton, Virginia, a daughter of Robert and Alice (Lawson) Ferris. She worked in the insurance industry for many years and eventually became a licensed broker.

In addition to her husband Blaine, she is survived by 2 sons, Dan and wife Alicia of Unity, and Bryan and wife Kati of Augusta; 2 brothers, Robert of North Carolina and Kenneth of Virginia; 13 grandchildren.

At this time there are no services scheduled. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport. Memorial donations may be made to the Waterville Area Humane Society, 100 Webb Road, Waterville, ME 04901.
