Kelly L. Merrill She belonged to the Newport Women’s Club, was past treasurer of the Sebasticook Valley Snowmobile Club, and past vice president of the Wednesday Night Bowling League. Her favorite pastimes were watching NASCAR, the Red Sox, bowling, and being with her 2 beloved grandchildren. She is survived by one son, Scott and wife Nicole Schissler of Newport; one daughter, Shelly and husband Dennis Campbell of Stetson; grandchildren, Sarah Schissler of Newport and Brady Campbell of Stetson; 1 sister, Yvonne and husband John Kopins of Newtown, CT; 2 brothers, James York of Pittsfield, and Ronald York of Cambridge, MA; 1 niece, Kelly Goodridge Taylor of Newtown, CT; 4 nephews, Matthew York of Mass., Marc York of Pittsfield, Steven Goodridge of Newtown, CT, and Lance Goodridge of NY. It was Kelly’s request that there be no services at this time. A spring graveside committal service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Hartland. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Newport. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sebasticook Valley Health Modernization Project, 447 North Main Street, Pittsfield, ME 04967. “Live with no excuses. Love with no regrets.
