KENNETH H. BACHELDER
ALBION – Kenneth H. Bachelder, 76, died August 1, 2003 at a Waterville hospital after a long illness. He was born November 28, 1926 at Portland a son of Harold and Mag…….. Althea (Palmer) Bachelder. He was a graduate of South Portland High School and served with the SeaBees in the U. S. Navy during World War II. Ken was in Tokyo Bay as part of the invasion force when the war ended. After the war, he was a carpenter and a millwright.

He is survived by one son, Thomas and wife Louise Bachelder of South Portland; two daughters, Penney and husband Scott Williams of Alton Bay, New Hampshire, and Bonnie Trumble of Limington; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held 1 P.M. Wednesday, August 6th, at the Village Cemetery in Pittsfield. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Bangor Street, Suite F, Augusta, ME 04338. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport.
