KENNETH J. BURKE
SANGERVILLE & DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA - Kenneth J. Burke, 61, a summer resident of Center Pond, died January 10, 2006 at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. He was born September 19, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York, and retired from Verizon in 2001. He served in the U. S. Air Force and was a member of the International Christian Center of Daytona Beach. Ken was an artist, using many mediums including black and white drawing, acrylic painting and sculpting. He was an avid reader and computer user.

In addition to his wife of 36 years, Patty, he is survived by 2 sons, Matthew and Michael, both of Long Island, New York; and a sister, Sharon D’Allessandro of Islip, NY.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday at the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Port Orange, Florida, where funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday, January 13th.. Burial will be in the Florida National Veteran’s Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. Memorial donations may be made to P.E.T.A.
