KENNETH J. SHORE
MONSON- Kenneth J. Shore, 81, went home to be with the Lord December 29, 2008, at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. He was born January 15, 1927, in Boston, MA.

He served in the US Navy during WWII. After the service he became a welder and later worked as a self employed carpenter. He was a member of the Paul Revere Masonic Lodge in Mass., VFW Post #8835 in Winslow, and American Legion Post #116 in Monson.

He is survived by his wife Jane (Pfister) Shore of Monson; 6 children; 4 grandchildren, Ashley Pina, Jason Pina, Christopher Pina, and Michael Pina all of Monson.

Friends may call at the church for a time of visitation, for an hour before the service. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Monday, January 5, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Dexter, with burial in the Maine Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Augusta.
