OBITUARIES

LARRY J. DUBE
DEXTER - Larry J. Dube, 87, died Dec. 21, 2004, at a Dexter healthcare facility. He was born July 27, 1917, in St. Eusebe Temiscouata, Canada, son of Felix and Ida (Polvin) Dube. He worked for many years for several of the local textile mills. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was predeceased by his first wife of 54 years, Mildred (Packard) Dube in 2000.

He is survived by his second wife, Nina Field of Dexter; his children, Donald and his wife, Edna Bridge, of North Berwick, Betty and her husband, Daniel Tarr, of Parkman, Bernice Trefethen of Bethel; and daughter-in-law, Anita Bridge, of Parkman; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lucien Dube, and Jake Dube and his wife, Irene, all of Dexter; a sister, Jeanette Holgerson of Connecticut; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons, Randall Bridge and Perry Bridge; brothers, Gilbert and Bill Sleight; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Pingree Center Cemetery in Parkman. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Dexter.
