LAWRENCE R. GALLAGHER, JR.
HARTLAND - Lawrence R. Gallagher Jr., 58, died unexpectedly May 21, 2009 at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born August 12, 1950 in Bath a son of Lawrence R. and Edith (King) Gallagher, Sr. He graduated from Morse High School in Bath, and following high school, enlisted in the U. S. Navy serving honorably for one year. He was predeceased by his father.

Larry is survived by his mother and stepfather, Edith and Malcolm Miller of Bath; 2 daughters Miranda K Merrill and husband Eric of Hartland and Juanita Gallagher of Damariscotta; 2 stepsons Richard Henward, Jr. and wife Leona of Westbrook and Charles Henward of Stetson; 3 brothers David Gallagher and wife Helen of Bristol, Timothy Gallagher of Sabattus, and Michael Gallagher of Mesa, AZ; 2 grandsons, Richard and Andrew Henward of Westbrook; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside committal services with military honors will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, June 3rd, at the Maine Veteran's Memorial Cemetery (new cemetery) in Augusta.
