LEO W. RAYMOND, JR.
ETNA—Leo W. Raymond, Jr. 65, died April 10, 2009 at his residence. He was born March 6, 1944 in Hartland, a son of Leo and Ada (Drown) Raymond, Sr. He graduated from Hartland Academy and retired from San Antonio Shoe in Pittsfield. Leo was a member of the Jubilee Family Worship Center in Newport and enjoyed camping and gardening.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Eugenia and husband Michael Clukey of Sangerville and Pamela and husband James Powers of Etna; 4 grandchildren, Crystal and husband Colin Moore, Heather and husband Sande Jacobson, James Powers, III, and Sabrina and husband James Ivory; 4 great grandchildren, Boleyn Moore, Trista Ryder, Madison and Cole Ivory; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Virginia Clark; and close friends, Kathy and Roland Frost. He will be sadly missed by his loving dog, Ashley. Leo was predeceased by his wife Ruth in 2006; 3 brothers; and a sister.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, April 16th at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, where funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Friday April 17th with the Rev. Carl Engstrom officiating. Burial will be in the Pittsfield Village Cemetery later in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to the Jubilee Family Worship Center, P. O.
