LESTER M. WYMAN
DEXTER - Lester M. Wyman, 88, died October 17, 2001. He was born July 23, 1913 at Burnham the son of Lewis and Blanche (Shorey) Wyman. He worked for many years as a welder for the railroad and shipyard; and later in construction. He was a 50 year member of the Grange, and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a former member of the Dexter Fire Department. He will be remembered as a loving father who worked hard for and cared for his children.

He was predeceased by a son Mark, and grandson Scott. He is survived by his wife Mildred (Knowles) Wyman of Dexter; 8 children, Judith and husband Gary Garneau of Florida; David and wife Jody Wyman of Dexter; Geraldine and husband William Rizzitello of Guilford; Barbara and husband Gerald Marshall of Palmyra; Richard and wife Diane Wyman, Norman and wife Marsha Wyman, Melvin and wife Cathy Wyman, Roger and wife Judy Wyman, all of Dexter; a brother Elmer of Belgrade; a sister Betty Hawk of Vassalboro; a special daughter in law, Vickie Wyman of Dexter; 26 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren.

At his request there will be no visiting hours. Graveside services will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, October 20th at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
