LEWIS BAGLEY
DOVER-FOXCROFT - Lewis Bagley was called home to our Father in heaven after fighting a short battle with Lou Gerigh's Disease (ALS). He went peacefully Feb. 19, 2007, with family near, at Mayo Hospital, Dover. He was born July 10, 1949. After graduating from Dexter Regional High School in 1969, he entered the Navy for four years. He was stationed aboard the USS Saratoga. He was medially discharged. He worked many different jobs in his life, including working in the woods, driving tractor trailer truck and was a carpenter. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also a member of the American Legion.

He was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine Bagley; his parents, Kenneth and Alice Bagley; two brothers, John and Larry. He is survived by two daughters, Kellianne and John Steeves of Pittsfield, N.H. and Tamralynn and Stephen Gilman Jr. of Brownville. He had four grandchildren who he loved very much, Quinn and Kathleen Steeves, Crystal and Harley Gilman. He is also survived by his brothers, James and his wife, Rebecca Bagley of Saint Albans, Timothy and his wife, Debbie Bagley of Saint Albans; three sisters, Vala and Vinny Eiriksson of the country of Norway, Mary and Floyd Day of Garland and Judy Welch of Ripley. Lewis Bagley was uncle to 12 nieces and nephews and a great-uncle to many.
