LEWIS C. GRAY
Lewis C. Gray PLYMOUTH – Lewis C. Gray, 69, died August 8, 2004 at his residence. He was born February 4, 1935 at Plymouth a son of Eugene and Cora (Nelson) Gray. He graduated from Plymouth High School, served in the U. S. Army, and retired as a Sergeant from the U. S. Army Reserves in September 1994. He shoed horses for 47 years and was a dairy farmer his whole life having purchased the family farm. He will also be remembered as a former road commissioner for the Town of Plymouth.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Hutchinson) Gray of Plymouth; 2 sons, Isaac and Anson Gray, both of Plymouth; 3 daughters, Sheryl Pierce of Alaska, Susan Fraser of Plymouth, and Amy Eager of Wyoming; a step-son, Michael Fournier of Sidney; and a step-daughter, Teena Savage of Readfield; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a niece Mickey. He was predeceased by his brother Gene in 2001.

At his request there will be no visitation or services. Private arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport.
