LLOYD PAUL BURDIN He was born November 13, 1942 in Harmony, a son of Oscar and Lucille (Johnson) Burdin. He was a retired sexton for the Town of Cambridge and janitor for many years at the Cambridge Elementary School. Lloyd was employed for 40 years at San Antonio Shoe and earlier for Northeast Shoe in Pittsfield. He was former member of the Masons, Cambridge Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Shirley Burdin Begley of Cambridge; a daughter, Tammy Draper of St. Albans; 4 step-children, Russell Begley of Maryland, Michael Begley of Augusta, Susan Towne of Oklahoma, and Charles Begley of Florida; 3 grandchildren, Katie, Kyle, and Caroline; and a good friend, Gerald “Jake” Ellis. He was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Burdin. Graveside services will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday, June 23rd at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Cambridge with Pastor A. Maurice Neal officiating.
