LORRAINE B. MCGOWAN
TROY & OCALA, FLORIDA – Lorraine “Magoo” B. McGowan, 76, died peacefully and surrounded by family Feb 7, 2009 at Ocala Regional Medical Center. She was born April 17, 1932 in Waterville, a daughter of the late Hippolyte and Alice Talbot. She enjoyed camping on the coast of Maine, spending time with her family and friends, and beginning and ending each day with her Lord.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Clive, of Troy; son John and his wife, Karen, of Sidney; daughter Deborra and her husband, Howard, of Pittsfield; son David and his wife, Shelley, of Sidney; daughter Rebecca and her husband, Gary, of Troy; brother Richard of Winslow; granddaughter Heidi and her husband, Justin, of Braintree, MA; granddaughter Amanda of Manchester, NH; granddaughter Stephanie of Quincy, MA; grandson Philip of Boston, MA; granddaughter Hannah of Standish; and great-granddaughter Isalina of Braintree, MA. She was predeceased by her sister Bernice Crocker of Lexington, MA.

At Lorraine’s request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service. A graveside committal service will be held in the spring at the Rogers Cemetery in Troy.
