LOUISETTE F. BUSQUE
GREENVILLE, Louisette F. Busque, 79, wife of the late Herve J. Busque passed away peacefully with family by her side on November 28, 2004, at the Charles A. Dean Memorial Nursing Home in Greenville, Maine. Louisette was born in St. Gedeon de Beauce, Quebec, Canada on September 27, 1925, the daughter of Pierre and Sophie (Poulin) Cliché. Louisette spent her early years in St. Gedeon taking care of children, homes and working as a switchboard operator. She moved to Greenville with her husband and 3 young children in January of 1957. There, they made their home and learned a new language and culture. They had two more children who were lovingly spoken of as “the Americans” by all the Canadian relatives. Louisette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She spent her life taking care of those around her. She loved knitting and crocheting, especially making afghans for the family. She continued her Canadian traditions and French language which will live on through her children. Louisette was a communicant of Holy Family Church.

Louisette is survived by her children, Ghislain and friend Laurie Cullen of Haverhill, Mass., Marcel of Windham, Maine, Martine Richards and husband James from Charlotte, Vermont, Peter and his wife Michelle of Windham, Maine, Mary Fowle and her husband James of Greenville; grandchildren, Kevin and his wife Leah; Danielle, Joseph and his wife Jessica, Patricia and friend Ryan Roberts; Michelle (Richards) Peters and her husband Jonathan, James, Kimberly, David, Jennifer and Elizabeth Richards; Peter, Shelby, Shannon and Nicholas Busque; Christopher and Emily Fowle; great-grandchildren, Hayden Busque and Sage Roberts; 2 sisters, Rolande and Sister Juliette; a brother Gaetan Cliché; special nieces, nephews, sister-in-law and brothers-in-law. She was predeceased by her special little sister Jacqueline; brothers Armand, Camille, Guy, Raoul and Julien, and a very special grandson, Ryan Busque.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Greenville, with the Rev. Fr. William Modlin officiating. At our mother’s request, a time for visitation will be at 10:00 am at the church until the time of the Mass. Spring burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery.

The Busque family would like thank all the Nursing staff and Medical staff for the care and respect given to our mother during her short stay at the Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in Louisette’s memory to the Charles A. Dean Nursing Home, P O Box 1129, Greenville, ME 04441. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home in Guilford.

Graveside committal services for Louisette F. Busque, 79, who died November 28, 2004, will be held 12:00 PM, Tuesday, May 24,2005, at the Greenville Cemetery with the Rev. Fr. William Modlin officiating. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Guilford.
