LUCILLE H. SMITH
MONSON, Lucille H. Smith, 89, died February 16, 2007, at Hibbard's Nursing Home in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born December 18, 1917, in Athens, daughter of William and Leah (Corson) Huff. She worked for many years as a nurse’s aide at Brown's Nursing Home in Monson, and was well known for her cooking.

She is survived by two daughters, Wanda and her husband, Sheldon Foster, and Minetta Brown and friend, Leslie Andrews, all of Sangerville; two sons, M. Stewart and his wife, Rose Smith Jr. of Monson, and Worden “Jake” and his wife, Glenda Smith of Dover-Foxcroft; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Ellen Jones. She was predeceased by her husband, Millard S. Smith Sr.; twin sons, Leo and Leonard; a granddaughter, Bridget Burke; son-in-law, Carl Brown; 3 brothers, and a sister.

A graveside memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, May 12, 2007, at the Lawn Cemetery in Guilford.
