LUELLA C. "SKIPPY" BLAKE
SPRING HILL, FLA. - Luella C. "Skippy" Blake, 67, of Spring Hill, Fla., passed away Jan. 6, 2003, at Oak Hill Hospital. A native of Dexter, she came to the area in 1984. Mrs. Blake was a Christian and a retired office manager for a construction company; memberships include VFW (Ladies Auxiliary) life member No. 8681, American Legion (Ladies Auxiliary) No. 186 and Elks Lodge No. 2520 (Ladies Auxiliary). Her parents, Malcolm and Thelma Cushman; and a sister, Jackie Osgood, predeceased her.

Survivors include her husband 0f 46 years, Donald; son, Michael Blake and wife, Janie, of Dexter; daughter, Cheryl Doucette of Augusta; a brother, Malcolm Cushman of Shawnee, Okla.; a sister, Betty Burgess and husband, Malcolm, of Torrington, Conn.; three special grandchildren, Lindsay Blake, Aaron and Blake Doucette; special friends, Rose and Jerome Gonya of Spring Hill, Fla.; and a host of other loving friends.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, at Wellwood Funeral Home, Hudson, Fla., with Chaplain Chuck Merkle of Hernando-Pasco Hospice, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 6-8 p.m. Friday.
