M. Joyce (Whittle) Sinclair
ST.ALBANS - M. Joyce (Whittle) Sinclair, 88, died April 20, 2013, at Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield. She was born June 23, 1924, in Crewe, England, the daughter of George and Clara (Bedson) Whittle.

She worked at Edwards Company in Pittsfield for many years. Joyce also worked as a substitute clerk at the St. Albans Post Office. She was a member of the St. Albans Willing Workers and the St. Albans Christmas Club.

She is survived by her husband, of 67 years, Leland H. Sinclair of St. Albans; a son, David Sinclair and his wife, Pat of Wells; a daughter, Kathryn Taylor and her husband, Richard of Pittsfield; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Grace Shea of Ellsworth; a brother-in-law, Ron Straker of Wimslow, England; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Monica Straker; and a brother, John Whittle.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main St., Newport. Bpring burial will be in the St. Albans Village Cemetery.
