MADELINE “TINY” GUDROE
DEXTER- Madeline “Tiny” Gudroe, 62, wife of Richard Keith Gudroe of Dexter, went to be with the Lord February 5, 2001, at a Bangor hospital. She was born in Garland, December 18, 1938, the daughter of Herbert and Sylvia (Stevens) Judkins. She attended Foxcroft Academy. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and newly great-grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, farming, four-wheeling, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a CNA and housekeeper at the Dexter and Pittsfield nursing homes for several years. She was an active member of the Charleston Pentecostal Church and she loved the Lord Jesus Christ.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Keith Gudroe of Dexter; her mother, Sylvia Witherly of Florida; five loving sons, Domino of Dexter, Rodney of Farmington and his fiancé Barbara, Dick and his wife Tressa, Jim, Mike and his fiancé Faith, all of Dexter; 11 grandchildren, Amy, Mandee, Jaimie, Elijah, Noah, Michael, Justin, Thomas, Shekinah, Sasha, and Kelsey; one great-grandchild, Jacob, who was very special to her; three sisters, Shirley Judkins, Sandy Nickerson, and Rosalie Wyman; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be sadly missed by many special friends. She was predeceased by her father, her sister Renee Dinsmore, and a very special daughter-in-law Patti Gudroe.

Special thanks goes to the staff at Eastern Maine Medical Center, Rev. Martin, and Pastor Libby. Friends and family may call Wednesday, February 7th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2pm at the Charleston Pentecostal Church with Pastor Ron Libby officiating. Spring burial will be at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
