MARCIA L. CHURCH
CORINNA – Marcia (Schillinger) Church, 71, passed away peacefully September 10, 2008 at a Bangor hospital surrounded by her family following a brief period of ill health. She was born May 19, 1937 at Claremont, NH, along with her twin sister Martha, who predeceased her in June of 1994. She was the daughter of Leo and Mary (Torlish) Schillinger. Marcia graduated from Corinna Union Academy and worked for many years at Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna, retiring from Dexter Shoe Company. In 1974 she married Maynard Church and together they lived in her lifelong home on the Bond Road in Corinna.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kelli and husband Ron Richardson of Corinna; a half sister, Alberta Fuller of Melbourne, FL; granddaughters, Amanda Perry Stitham, husband Erik, and their children Joshua, Julia and Nicolas of Newport; and Morgan Perry of Corinna; a grandson Ron, Jr. and wife Jessie Richardson and their children Parker, Harley and Olivia; a nephew Donald Bragg and wife Lisa, and their son Jason of Old Town. She will be fondly remembered by friends Marion Sinclair, the Liberty family, Paul and Irene Savage, Carroll and Marge Downs. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation.

A graveside committal service will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, September 13th, at Morses Corner Cemetery, Corinna. Family and friends are invited to a time of fellowship at the home of Kelli and Ron. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bangor Humane Society, 693B Mt. Hope Avenue, Bangor, ME 04401. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Chapel, Corinna.
