MARGUERITE E. TREFETHEN
DOVER-FOXCROFT, SKOWHEGAN & CORINNA Marguerite E. Trefethen, 84, died February 10, 2002 at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. She was born March 9, 1917 at South Dover, the daughter of Harryman and Elva (Hall) Anderson. She attended Guilford High School. She and her husband, Lloyd, owned and operated Trefethen's Market on Madison Avenue in Skowhegan. Marguerite and Lloyd then worked together at Knowles and Dressel Furniture Company, also in Skowhegan. Lloyd predeceased her in 1993. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Dover-Foxcroft.

She is survived by a son, Richard Trefethen of Vasselboro, Me. a daughter Joanne and her husband Dalton Kirk of Corinna. 2 sisters, Lois Young of Greenville and Eleanor Roderick of Dover-Foxcroft; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Marguerite will be buried next to her husband at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta.

There will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be scheduled in the spring. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, Corinna.
