MARION B. WHARFF
GUILFORD, Marion B. Wharff, 76, died August 29, 2007, at a Deer Isle health care facility. She was born February 8, 1931, in Newport, daughter of Eugene and Flossie (Braley) Hatch. She attended Guilford Center Baptist Church. Marion loved being a home maker, loved kids, her favorite cat, Susie, her gardens and feeding the birds.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Wharff of Guilford; children , Michael Wharff of Guilford, Brenda and David Prescott of Charleston, Jeffrey and Carol Wharff of Sangerville, Pamela and Helen Price-Wharff of Lewiston; grandchildren, Amanda Prescott of Charleston, Curtis and Cory Wharff of Sangerville, Tyler Cochran and Lillith Price-Wharff both of Lewiston; a great grandson, Aiden Wharff of Sangerville; 2 sisters, Ethel Pelkey of Newburgh and her twin, Mildred Goffe of CT; 2 brothers, Glen Hatch of Kenduskeag, and Verne Hatch of Michigan.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 1, 2007, at the Guilford Center Baptist Church with Rev. David Lassell officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Guilford.
