Marion Gertrude Cray She attended high school in Richmond and received her GED in 1975 from Nokomis High School. She was very proud of the accomplishment, and graduating the same time as her first son, Robert Cray Jr. She worked at Northeast Shoe and SAS Shoe in Pittsfield for many years. She also worked as a CNA at Sebasticook Valley Nursing Home in Pittsfield, Sebasticook Valley Boarding Home in Pittsfield, and Sanfield Nursing Home in Hartland for several years. Marion enjoyed reading, puzzles, gardening and watching game shows. Most of all she enjoyed being surrounded by her family. Marion is survived by her husband, Robert Cray of Palmyra, whom she married in 1956; two sons, Richard Cray and his wife, Carol of Hartland, and Ronald Cray of Nassau, NY; a daughter, Velma Palmer and her husband, Carl Jr. of Palmyra; a daughter-in-law, Rhonda Cray of Palmyra; two brothers, Frederick McLaughlin and his wife, Bonnie of Mobile, AL, and Lloyd McLaughlin of Winter Haven, FL; a sister, Delores Stevens of Conway, SC; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and MaryJane Cray of Palmyra and her husband Robert. Marion was also blessed with ten grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; a son, Robert Cray Jr.; brother, Pat McLaughlin; daughter-in-law, Vicki Cray. Friends may call Tuesday March 27, 2012, from 6 to 8 PM, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street in Newport. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, 11 AM, Wednesday, with the Rev. Scott Black and Pastor Brian Woodbury officiating. Burial will be in the Palmyra Village Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
