MARY "MITZI" F. SPARROW
DETROIT, Mary “Mitzi” F. Sparrow, 75, died April 2, 2007, at a Pittsfield hospital. She was born April 5, 1931, in Northampton, PA, daughter of Rudolf and Bridgette Kaintz. She attended Calvary Baptist Church in Newport. Mitzi was very active in the Salvation Army and had received numerous awards for her service.

She is survived by her husband, Ray F. Sparrow of Detroit; a son Ray J. Sparrow of OH; 2 brothers, Rudolf and his wife, Joanne Kaintz, and August and his wife, Doreen; 2 sisters, Paula Weaver and Margaret Brindock and her husband, Tom all of PA; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 6, 2007, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Newport, with the Rev. George Finnemore officiating.
