OBITUARIES

MARY I. CARLETON
SANGERVILLE, Mary I. Carleton, 84, died January 8, 2007, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. She was born October 6, 1922, in Sangerville, daughter of Fred and Abbie (Dulac) Clukey. She attended Sangerville schools and was a communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church in Sangerville.

Mary enjoyed snowmobiling, playing cards, was an avid reader, and enjoyed supporting her grandchildren and great grandchildren in all their sporting events. For many years she worked at Guilford Woolen Mill in Guilford, until her retirement.

She is survived by a son, Craig and his wife, Karen Carleton of TX; a daughter, Pamela Mabry of Hampden; 3 grandchildren, Shawn Mabry of Alaska, Michelle Kivler of Hermon, and Casandra Peterson of Sangerville; 3 great grandchildren, Kyle Kivler, Katie Kivler, and Brandon Mabry; special cousins, Marie Robinson of Glenburn, and Ardell “Red” Lovell of Sangerville.

A time of celebration for family and friends will be held in the basement of Holy Family Catholic Church in Sangerville from 6 to 8 PM, Friday, January 12, 2007.
