OBITUARIES

MARY LOU SHONTZ
MONSON- Mary Lou Shontz, 73, died May 11, 2008, at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born July 4, 1934, in Mt. Holly, NJ. She worked as a statistical clerk for Burlington County Health Nursing Association in Mt. Holly, NJ. She enjoyed sewing, reading and all types of puzzles. Mary Lou was also a ham radio operator N2CLX, and was a member of the West Jersey Amateur Radio Club in Willingboro, NJ. For many years she and her husband vacationed in Maine, and finally moved to Maine in 2000. She was a member of the Willimantic Community Church in Willimantic.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Sam Shontz of Monson; 3 daughters, Terri Tress, and Brenda Kuhn both of NJ, and Suzanne Wells of PA; 7 grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Patterson of NJ.

Friends may call Friday, May 16, 2008 from 1 to 2 PM at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak Street in Guilford, Maine, followed by funeral services at 2 PM with Pastors Lloyd Rozelle and Greg Loveless officiating. For an online guest register, go to www.CrosbyNeal.com.
