MERRIAM J. PAGE
PORTLAND & DEXTER – Merriam J. Page, 89, formerly of 10 Congress Square Plaza, died Sunday, March 30, 2003 at Saint Joseph’s Manor. She was the widow of Edgar M. Page, Sr. She was born in Trescott July 1, 1913 a daughter of George H. and Sadie (Brewster) Jones, and attended local schools. Mrs. Page was employed by the Dexter Shoe Company for 20 years. She retired in 1979 and moved to Portland in 1987. She attend the First Assembly of God Church in Portland and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dexter. Her hobbies included cooking, crocheting and shopping.

She is survived by a son, Edgar M. Page, Jr. of Portland, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives are invited to call from 1 to 2 P.M. Wednesday, April 2nd, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main Street, Dexter, where a funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, later in the spring.
