OBITUARIES

MILTON A. BINGHAM
DEXTER - Milton A. Bingham, 70, died Monday evening, Aug. 4, 2008, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Thayer Unit in Waterville. He was born in Dewitt, Ky., on Sept. 16, 1937, the son of Charles and Myrtle (Hill) Bingham. He was employed by Guilford Industries for many years as a maintenance supervisor and enjoyed hunting and collecting knifes and antique guns. He was an Army veteran.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dolores (Price) of Dexter; two sons, Richard Bingham of Waterville and Gary Bingham of Freeport; one daughter, Eva Thurlow of Unity; three brothers, Robert Bingham of Hampden, Edward Bingham of Burnham and Steve Hawthorn of Dedham; four sisters, Ruth Leduc of Bangor, Goldie Pazani of Parkman, Fay Clements of Monson and Joyce Ellis of Sangerville; also by 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and two sisters, Violet and Darlene.

Visiting hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at noon Saturday, Aug. 9, at Pleasant Street Christian Church, 29 St. Albans Road in Corinna. Burial with military honors will be private.
