MURRAY F. PROSSER
Murray F. Prosser PALMYRA – Murray F. Prosser, 78, went to be with his Lord October 1, 2007. He was born October 15, 1928 at Monticello a son of Frank and Mildred (Kneeland) Prosser. He married the former Edna Smith March 4, 1950. Murray was a U. S. Army veteran. He owned and operated an auto body shop in Monticello for over 20 years. Edna and Murray moved from the family homestead in Monticello to Palmyra in 1982. They had attended the Monticello Full Gospel Church, Deeper Life Assembly in Pittsfield, and the Jubilee Family Worship Center in Newport. He was currently a member of the Solid Rock Church of God in Pittsfield.

Murray is survived by 2 sons, Frank and wife Belinda Prosser, Ray and wife Daryl Lynn Prosser, all of Palmyra; 2 daughters, Anita and husband Gordon Ginnish of Plymouth, and Priscilla and husband Tom Hanson of Kenduskeag; 3 brothers, Wendell and wife Merriem of Pittsfield, Charles and wife Ora of Florida, and Basil Prosser of Arkansas; 4 sisters, Alice Miller of Mars Hill, Doris Bishop of Houlton, Pat and husband “Frosty” Adair of Gloucester, Carolyn and husband Roger Graham of Connecticut; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at Jubilee Family Worship Center, (formerly Newport Full Gospel Church), where funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, October 5th, with the Revs. Dana Perkins and Carl Engstrom officiating.
