NEAL A. ROBBINS Neal was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying his camp on Wyman Lake and family gatherings. He especially loved his dog Toby. He was a 40-year member of the Carrabassett Masonic Lodge #161 AF & AM of Canaan, Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Portland, 32nd degree, Valley of Augusta, 14th degree. He was an officer in Evening Star Chapter O.E.S. #189 of Hartland, a member of Smokey’s Angels Snowmobile Club, Inc. of Hartland, and a member of the NRA. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Irene “Dolly” Robbins of Hartland; his children and their spouses; daughter Blynda and Tim Pushor, son Randy and Roxanne Robbins, all of Hartland, son Dale and Michelle Robbins of Palmyra, daughter Rebecca “BJ” and Alex Shearon of Franklin, TN; 10 grandchildren, Dani Merrithew, Chris Langley, Meaghan Robbins, AJ Shearon, Amanda Pushor, Shaniah Clark, Jenifer Robbins, Megan Shearon, Brooke Robbins, Dale “LD” Robbins, II; 3 great grandchildren, Luquis, Ava and Makayla; godchild, Angel Webber Knight; brother Dennis and wife Joan Robbins of E. Greenwich, RI; brother-in-law David “Tinker” and wife Arlene Lyons of Pittsfield; sister-in-law Bonnie Tweedie of Palmyra; Uncle Bucky Smith of Canada; several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends, including Bruce and Rosemary Ballard, among many others. Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, November 4th at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, where Masonic and OES services will be held at 7 and 7:15 P.M. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Tanner officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Canaan.
