NORMA B. DAVIS
GUILFORD- Norma B. Davis, 84, died August 8, 2009 at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born November 15, 1924, in Pittsfield, daughter of Charles and Melba (Neal) Shaw.

Norma worked at the Ben Franklin Store in Guilford for several years. She enjoyed crocheting and attending fairs with her husband and his horses.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Larry and Nancy Glidden, Diana Libby, and Patricia and David Beach all of Parkman; 2 sisters, Donna Friend of Newport, and Lucille Mooers of Waterville; 5 grandchildren, Paul, Peter, Pamela, Lori, and Charles; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Davis; a granddaughter, Norma Jean, and a great grandson, Wayne; 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, August 14, 2009, at the Lawn Cemetery in Guilford with the Rev. Dr. Richard Davis officiating.
