OBITUARIES

PATSY L. GOURLEY
CAMBRIDGE- Patsy L. Gourley, 55, lost her life to cancer on August 26, 2008, with her family by her side. She was born June 7, 1953, daughter of Philip and Gladys (Neal) Pease.

Patsy was a graduate of Piscataquis Community High School in Guilford, and attended Thomas College in Waterville. She was affiliated with the Cambridge Baptist Church and was a member of the Cambridge Extension. She loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandson, Trevor. She was a devoted wife, mother, and “Nana”, and was always there for family whenever needed. She worked at the Dexter Shoe Company for 27 years and then moved on to work for Dr. Steike in Dover-Foxcroft.

She was predeceased by her father, Philip C. Pease. She is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Terry Wayne Gourley of Cambridge; daughter, Tarsha Duby and a special grandson, Trevor both of Guilford; son Brock and his wife, Karen of Cambridge; mother and step father, Gladys and Arthur Packard of Cambridge; sister, Vicki McKenney and husband, Dale of Parkman; brother Alton Quimby and his wife, Gloria of Ripley; several nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by many friends and family.

At the family’s request, no memorial services will be held. In lieu of flowers, those who wish, may make donations in Patsy’s memory, to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Fwy., Ste. 250, Dallas, TX 75244.
