PAUL C. CANNEY
MILO - Paul C. Canney, 84, died Feb. 4, 2004, in Bowerbank. Paul was born Jan. 28, 1920, in Milo, the only son of Manley and Dolores (Billington) Canney. Paul was a veteran of World War II and worked for many years for Prentiss and Carlisle.

Paul is survived by two sons and a daughter, Ralph and his wife, Rosemary Canney, of Old Town, Wade Canney of Milo, Andrea and her husband, Walter Mayo, of Bowerbank; seven grandchildren, Crystal and Scott Canney, Lorinda and Robert Canney, Kevin and Butch Mayo and Roberta Nelson. He will also be sadly missed by many great-grandchildren, including one especially precious great-granddaughter, Avalena Linsky; and by his faithful dog, Sadie Mae. Paul was predeceased by his wife and very best friend, Myrtle Canney.

At Paul's request, there will be no funeral or visiting hours. Arrangements are in care of Lary Funeral Home, Milo.
